Natural Hair Care Tricks for Dry Hair

Dry hair can be due to harmful chemicals used in coloring, bleaching and highlighting. It is also due to excessive heat, whether from the sun or from electric appliances exactly like hair curlers and hair dryers.
Consider the following tips and remedies to let the hair body and shine easily and quickly!

Use Vinegar

To add in a fantastic glow to your hair dilute apple-cider vinegar in water (1 part vinegar to 7 parts water) and rinse the hair with it as soon as you shampoo. A vinegar rinse is great for thoroughly.

Avoid using hair tools too often

Excessive use of electric curlers, hair dryers, styling irons, hair straighteners and so forth .. may damage and dries out hair. In case you are using these hair tools daily in that case your haircut isn't working for you. Use a different cut or even a loose perm etc. If you do use a blow dryer, try and use one with no more than 1,000 watts, and reduce the temperature and power level as your hair dries.

Use your fingers

Rather than using a hair dryer, gently fluff and style your hair with your fingers as it dries, always lifting the hair up off the scalp. Bending over as you do this allows gravity to bring about extra volume.

Use a humidifier

Dry indoor air is not good for dry hair so when it's winter counteract the typical low-moisture environment with a humidifier. If the humidifier is situated in the bedroom, your hair can usually benefit from 8 hours of added moisture each night.

Reduce exposure to the sun

Humidity is high in summer but the sun is hot and excessive sun rays can harm your hair and in your skin. If you fail to control are a fantastic alternative to sunscreen application so wear a hat before you go out in the summer sun.

Use baby oil

To shield the hair from chlorine damage when swimming, apply baby oil to your hair before going into the pool. Use about ½ a teaspoon - more if your hair is long - and work it in to your hair. The oil coats hair shafts and prevents them from absorbing harsh chlorine. Right after your swim you can shampoo the oil out.
